Starting Your Business: Finding a Niche

Now, on to the next move!

Before we start talking about domain name registration, web hosting
and website design you need to make a "plan" first.

This means, before you begin with building your internet h.ome
business you need to identify the market or niche to go into.

Hint: you can dive into multiple niches and markets later on if you
like, but we highly recommend you pick one only for the beginning
and stick with it for at least one or two years. The big advantage
is that you get not distracted too much this way.

Focus on one niche first, you can diversify later! You will not be
able to give full power to building your business otherwise.

You should select your first niche or market based on these
criteria:

- You like the topic of the niche and you can identify yourself
with it.

- You already know something about this niche, or at least you are
willing to learn about it.

- There is a demand for the niche.

- There are plenty of ready-to-buy customers in that niche (some
niches have high demand, but people are not willing to pay for
products).

- Competition is not too high in regards to the size and volume of
this particular market.

- Make sure there are affiliate products available that you can
sell to the niche. (Remember, you want to create PR.OFITS !)

- We highly recommend that you do some keyword research before you
really make your decision.

Hint: Today there should be affiliate products for almost
everything imaginable, but you need to go for the profitable ones.
You will learn more about selecting affiliate products in future
editions of this newsletter. It is too complex to cover it here
today.

Ask Trick Question Posted: 22 Sep 2008 04:21 AM CDT It’s almost a month that I didn’t update my marketing blog. I went to China & Hong Kong for a week and just came back on 14th September 2008. It’s a good experience to go oversea to learn how other people live, do business and lifestyle. Finally, I managed to spare 30 minutes to update my blog and I would like to share how to ask a trick question to get the real answer. If you ask question straight to the point, then you will not get the real answer. Here’s an example: James is a shy man and he went out with a girl for dinner last night. Let say James is my friend (normal friend) and I want to know if James really had dinner with that girl last night. James probably will say “NO” to me because he’s shy to let people know. I will use a trick question below: “James, I heard you had dinner with a girl last night, how’s the food? Is it good or bad?” First, I didn’t ask if he had dinner with a girl last night in my question but I ask how’s the food. I gave him 2 option at the last sentence. “Is it good or bad” (about the food).  Whether the answer for the food is good or bad, both answer is to proof that he went out with a girl last night. Normally people will ask the question directly like, “hey, I heard you went out with a girl last night”. Mostly will get Yes or No answer. You will never know it’s a real answer with Yes or No. Add some trick in the question will help you get the real answer. Never ask a question that will only get Yes or No answer. This method work very well when you want to know your competitor information. I’m not going to go further how you can get your competitor information but the above trick question will work very well if you applied correctly. . Hi Affiliate,

as an Internet marketer and affiliate you can live a life that is
entirely different from the normal life people live in the standard
9 to 5 rat-race.

Starting your own online business in whatever niche or fashion is
your once-in-a-lifetime chance to not only make more mo.ney. It is
your ticket of becoming a totally independent person being in
almost complete control of your time.

In former times living such a life was dedicated to very few
"already rich" people, and to brake out of this cycle a huge
investment in money and personal efforts had been required. But the
Internet changed the entire game.

Never before in human history there was such opportunity for normal
people like you and me to make a killing with almost zero
investment required.

Thanks to the Internet today it is possible to become rich, filthy
rich. And the only things you need are your computer and an
Internet connection. What else do you need? Webhosting, some
software tools and reading of books and courses to give you the
skills and knowledge required. It´s all doable and really easy to
learn and understand.

But this is not the big part. The really important things that you
need are your dedication to your goals and the strong personal will
to succeed! That´s it. The rest will follow.

Working on the Internet has incredible benefits. Here are just some

(1) You choose your own hours and you are Master of your time!

Imagine getting up in the morning, pouring yourself a nice coffee in

home office or not!

Just like a big city, the Internet never sleeps. There are always
millions of people buying online 24 hours/day, 365 days a year. The
great thing about Internet marketing is that you make money all day
and you even get paid on weekends or while you´re on vacation. Once
you set-up a successful campaign or website, you can virtually let
it run on auto-pilot and get paid while you are away from your
computer!

(3) You can promote products and services that interest you

There are 1000's of different companies and many millions of
affiliate products in almost every industry, niche and language
imaginable that are looking for people like you or us to promote
their products or services online. Competition is not really a
factor, as the Internet is constantly growing, providing more than
enough room and products for everybody. You can chose a topic or
niche that interests you or in which you are an expert in. Or open
totally new ground and go for things that are new but interesting
to you. You are in no way limited to what you can promote, or when
you promote it.

(4) Ever being exited to wake up in the morning?

Here´s a cool new feeling! There is nothing better than waking up
in the morning, starting your computer while still being in your

and you can actually grow your business from anywhere in the world!

It's probably the most asked question on the internet - "How long
does it take to create a successful internet business?"

We get asked this quite often, and, to be honest with you, - it's
impossible to answer.

It depends on your focus, your commitment, your knowledge, the
tools you are using and your targeted marketplace or niche that you
are in.

It depends on how often you work on your business, and how focused
and target oriented you are when you are working.

Many people say they are working, but what they really mean is that
they are checking emails, browsing websites, spending time in
forums, chatting along with friends, checking their sales and site
visitor statistics etc. It is so easy to get distracted.

Now, don't get me wrong - all these things need doing, but you have
to have a degree of balance in the amount of time you allocate to
them.

Let us assume, like many of us, you are starting your online
business part time and therefore you only have 3 hours per day to
work on your online business, and you spend 2 hours of that
browsing forums and websites, and 30 minutes on reading emails or
chatting with friends, then you only have 30 minutes left to do
productive work that will move your business forward.

You must make sure that you pay attention to the type of work
you're doing and whether or not you're being productive. Surfing
the internet, constantly checking your email, talking to friends on
internet messaging, etc is not considered productive, unless you're
doing research for your current product, or contacting potential JV
partners.

No-one can guarantee you'll be successful. This is too much
dependant on what you do and how you do it. BUT, whatever you are
up to and whatever your target is, provided you put in effort,
action and persistence towards doing productive work, we really do
not know what could stop you from building your virtual empire.
And finally you should be successful.

Remember, the first step is getting started.

If you don't start taking action, you will never achieve any
success. It is not possible that way.

A little bit of "targeted" action every day will soon move your
online business forward, and you will start to notice an
improvement in a short space of time. In internet and affiliate
marketing, just as in life, things rarely change over night.

But you can steadily and constantly bring them forward, slowly
getting more and more results every day. And once you reach a
certain point, things will speed up and start growing by their own
dynamics like a bushfire.

Set yourself a daily target, and make a short written note every
day on whether or not you reached your target. Having a written
record will hold you accountable against yourself, and help you to
keep you focused on the productive things you need to do.

Having your first online success, even if it's a small one, will
help to motivate you and strengthen your commitment to becoming a
successful online business.

Half-hearted work isn't work.

Don't do half-hearted work on your projects, then put them aside,
and ignore them, because when you dig them out months later, you'll
find you're still in the same place you were before. That won't
help you at all. In fact, it will just end up frustrating you.

How long it takes you to become successful is really in your hands.

But to speed things up for you we will give you all information you

Action and Persistence are the Keys to your Success!

Why do we start the first edition of our Internet marketing and
